An introduction Youtube video, leading up to the big announcement.
I vowed never to step foot on a Florida beach again...ever!
But I guess I was wrong and I'm glad that I was! Trust me, if you saw me the day before and the day of, as we headed to the beach, you would think that I was a rotten child throwing a temper tantrum. All I did was wine and carry on to my family about how much I hated that whole 'beach scene'. I was born and raised in the Sunshine State and I'd lived in Florida for more than 30 years, all I knew for vacation....was 'beach scene'.
There are many people who covet this type of landscape but I had just been worn down. Who wants to look at blue skies, bouncy waves and weird dirt all day, right? ☺ BTW, not all beaches look that good! Anyhoo, I digress. As I was saying, to me... the beach had become nothing more than a long drive, finding dirt in places I can't even discuss and the sun rays just ruining my eyesight!
But, by not having seen most of my family with my own very eyes for over a year along with the fact that this was tradition in my family... I eventually let my mood settle, took in a deep Florida breathe, just sat back and enjoyed the ride that came with good conversation that led us all the way to 'the beach'. It was my child hood running back to me as I began to hit the stretch of road that mysteriously showed sprinkled peaks of waves thru the sparse trees near the road side with beach sand at the front stretching for miles and miles. Plus, a long and wide bridge that I now remembered was the best part of the car ride over these coastal waters; to cross over into what many may refer to as "a small piece of heaven" or a slice of good pie! Anyway, I can't describe to you fully of what the beach is truly like though. I can say, however, that it's an experience that no one living on planet Earth should miss or at least come back to ever now and again. ♥
I am a woman who has spent the last 19 years of her life rearing three wonderful, hell raising children. These now, young adults have helped me remain a solid, consistant, brave, and emotionally strong, no nonsense kind of woman.
As most women ( so men say), I like to talk. This is one of the primary reasons why I've decided to become a blogger. I like to debate...heavily about many different types of topics about all kinds of areas of life. I am passionate and sometimes unyielding in my views, unless good points are made. I've been told that I have an eccentric and inquisitive personality by some of my friends. I am Leo born and I'd like to think that I am a fair person ~ don't ask my kids that though...LOL.
I am one of three daughters to a beautiful, soulful, and very knowledgeable lady; the only person in my life that has had the natural ability to read between my lines when I'm am needing to express myself or hardily trying to get my point across. I am hoping that with this blog spot that my readers will help me make those lines more ledgible in view, while also lending me a good ear. I too am a good listener and can't wait to have a healthy discussion with my readers. As a kid in the middle of three, I often found myself always stuck in the in between, trying to find an answer that best fit the end result for my sisters. This has not alway worked in my favor, but it was always fair.
In life, relationships are very important. For me I like REAL relating. I've experienced many positive, negative, hard, joyful, tearful things in my life. Out of all of the life I've lived, I think...no...I know...that I have a natural nature. If you want to get to the meaning of what that is, then stay in touch with me by visiting this page often. Tell me what you think and make sure to share your thoughts.
Live Well & Love Hard,
My hair last Fall, using an old recipe that I've since learned to develop even more. Just a quick style.
I'm still shocked that I did this most wonderful thing! I started thinking about starting my own all natural beauty care product line sometime late last year. Let me start from the beginning ☺ I am an avid Youtuber and I have been on a natural hair care journey on You Tube since October 2009 ~ StormyHair. During this journey, I discovered that there was a vast amount of information about all natural products and there uses for kinky/curly hair textured people, such as myself. Well, I began to realize that my love of gardening and cooking helped develop a love for making my own natural hair and skin care products right in my very own kitchen nook! I learned to make products such as a whipped shea butter recipes, hair oil concoctions, black soap shampoo etc... I also discovered that I was really good at it and it felt all to natural for me to do. So I began doing some research about starting an internet business, I started learning about natural butters, oils, chemical processes, digging around for recipes and whatever I could get my hands on about understanding how vital it is to use natural ingredients versus chemically altered products. And I discussed it with my immediate family and we decided to do it! Yay! I am overwhelmingly happy, scared, excited and did I mention scared...LOL about beginning on this new adventure, down the road of being a small business owner, entreprenuer, President and CEO ☺. Well, hopefully, if your reading this, you will welcome me and my little company in to your life with open arms.
♥Thank you for listening and I'll talk to you soon♥.
